Response to COVID lockdown extension from Monday, 16 August

Dear valued Soaring Health clients, 

Following the Victorian government’s announcement of a COVID-19 lockdown extension from Monday, 16 August, we would like to assure you that we will continue to provide the therapeutic services and support you need during this challenging period. 

In line with government guidelines, we will continue to provide essential allied healthcare services including physiotherapy, chiropractic, occupational therapy, psychology, dietetics and speech pathology. You are allowed to travel beyond 5km for in-clinic appointments that qualify as essential and to receive clinically-appropriate in-home health services from a visiting practitioner. Our clinics will continue to operate during regular hours with the same practitioners. 

If your appointment is considered non-essential and needs to be rescheduled or conducted via telehealth, we will contact you. If you don’t hear from us, your appointment will go ahead. During this period, gym and hydrotherapy appointments will be cancelled.  

Our rigorous sanitisation, cleaning and precautionary measures such as question screening and compulsory fitted face coverings will continue to be upheld by all clients and staff to ensure the safety of every person on Soaring Health premises. 

We appreciate that the lockdown restrictions may exacerbate certain challenges (e.g. transportation) and that associated uncertainties may cause anxieties about accessing support during this time. Our practitioners and client team are here to answer your questions and will do our best to meet your health and wellbeing needs. We are not going anywhere. We are here for you.
