The Soaring Health Leadership, Education and Development Program, a.k.a. LEAD Program, enables ambitious and passionate practitioners at all levels to develop innovative, thought-leading knowledge and skills and to progress their careers without limits. Comprising two complementary formats, ‘case study’ and ‘workshop’, the program is an ‘active learning-based’ professional development program emphasising practitioner participation, which has been shown to promote optimal learning and development outcomes. Exclusive to Soaring Health practitioners, the program promotes and celebrates excellence in multidisciplinary practice and holistic support of growth and development of both graduates and other practitioners. During the program, participants are able to share their work and receive recognition and feedback from peers and senior practitioners across Soaring Health’s practice disciplines. The 2022 program will culminate in an end-of-year case conference whereby selected practitioners, chosen based on their performance in fortnightly case studies, have the opportunity to present to all program participants and/or receive awards with possible further opportunities to receive support in submission to and/or presentation to a national or international conference. We call our LEAD program participants ‘Soarers’ because the sky is the limit.
